ABOUT WAEE

The Wisconsin chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (WAEE) received their official charter on May 23, 2007.  Our chapter has more than 45 corporate sponsors and over 300 paying members representing more than 125 major Wisconsin manufacturing, commercial, contractor, government, schools, utilities, and various private businesses. 

The WAEE is unquestionably one of the strongest AEE chapters in the U.S. WAEE has received many prestigious AEE awards since it's inception in 2007 including:

  • National Best Chapter - 2016, 2012
  • Best Chapter Conference & Expo - 2019, 2016
  • National Best Chapter Website - 2014
  • Best Student Chapter Support (UW-Milwaukee) - 2023,2024
  • National Best Chapter Meeting (Vyron) - 2024
  • National Best Sustainability Program - 2025 (inaugural award!)
