AEE History:

The Association of Energy EngineersĀ® (AEEĀ®), founded in 1977 , is a nonprofit professional society of over 18,000 members in more than 100 countries.

The Wisconsin Chapter (WAEE) received their official chapter charter on May 23, 2007. The chapter has over 250 members representing more than 195 major Wisconsin manufacturing, commercial, contractor, government, schools, utilities, and various private businesses.

WAEE has received many prestigious awards since inception in 2007 including the National Best Overall Chapter for years 2012 and 2016.  The WAEE is unquestionably one of the strongest AEE chapters in the U.S.

WAEE monthly meeting Thursday 09/27/2018

Beginning at Faith Technologies Innovation Center, Menasha, followed by a tour at the Bubolz Nature Preserve. Learn about one of the most innovative installations in the Midwest! 

This will be more than "just a walk in the park"!
The Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve advanced microgrid uses 200 kW solar photovoltaic energy; a 30 kW hydrogen fuel cell; a 100 kW lithium-ion battery storage system that utilizes Panasonic technology; a 65 kW micro-turbine; and a 60 kW Kohler natural gas generator to power the 18,000-square-foot nature center building.

 This innovative vision, features modern technology, allowing the new Environmental Center building to reduce energy costs and strengthen its ability to become sustainable.
