Those who attend may find themselves in for a few surprises.

Many folks, when they think of energy efficiency and savings, think of equipment like lights, motors, HVAC, motor vehicles etc. Utility bills drive us in that direction. Turn off the lights, turn down the thermostat etc.

It is sort of funny that our first energy efficiency messages likely came from Mom.

“Shut the ##%#@ door! You think were heating the whole  ##@!%&$# neighborhood”?!! My mother talked like that. Perhaps yours may have been a little more refined, but I’m sure the lessons were similar :- )

On this expedition we will hear about “other” opportunities in the workplace. Opportunities  in areas that are not actually consuming power, just wasting it.
