Werner Electric Supply's story is defined by progress. From modest beginnings in 1948, they have grown to serve the needs of loyal customers and valued partners. While 400+ employees now serve in Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it all started with just one man in a small shop in Neenah Wisconsin.

Werner's regional distribution center in Appleton provides a showcase for energy efficient building design to house a wide range of electrical components, including state-of-the art LED lighting, automation components, drives and photovoltaics.

State of Solar (20 minutes)
- Overview of the solar industry and where Werner Electric fits in it. We went to present technological changes and new trends in recent years as well as highlight federal and state rebate incentives available
Energy Savings using Variable Frequency Drives (20 minutes)
Servo Linear Actuators vs. Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems (20 minutes)
- Discuss the industry trend of replacing pneumatics and hydraulic systems with servo controlled linear actuators to reduce energy consumption, reduce maintenance, and provide better control.
Lighting Control Trends (15 minutes)
- This course will focus on lighting control trends important for today’s commercial spaces. We’ll discuss; Human Centric Lighting / Creating the Right Environment, Wireless technologies and Focus on Energy Incentives.
