In addition to being a leader in marine propulsion and technology, Mercury Marine is a leader in energy efficiency.  The WAEE is excited to visit Mercury Marine’s newly expanded state-of-the art Product Development and Emissions testing facility.  The PD&E facility is where  the latest and greatest marine engine technology is put to the test.  Their new facilities include heat recovery from their diesel exhaust treatment system, integrated process heating systems with engine heat recovery, integrated process coolingn systems with ice storage, and much more.

 

Join us for our meeting on May 22nd to learn about all of the great things Mercury Marine is doing to save energy while helping us enjoy our time on the water. With summer threatening to hit Wisconsin, this is the perfect time to visit Mercury Marine.  Along with the late start to

BOARD MEETING:

The WAEE board and committee members will meet at 2:00.  Anyone interested in learning more about our chapter or getting more involved is welcome to join the board.  The board is comprised of energy industry professionals who volunteer their time to promote education and awareness in the energy industry.

 

REGISTRATION:

Register at http://waee.wildapricot.org by noon on Tuesday April 20 if you will be joining us for this meeting.  Preregistration is required to for security and planning.   Please provide name and company name.  The meeting is free of charge for all attendees.  We thank Mercury Marine for graciously hosting the meeting and covering the cost of food. 

 

We encourage all non-member guests to support WAEE by joining as an individual member or corporate sponsor.  The majority of dues collected go towards our annual scholarship awards.  We recently awarded $7,050 in scholarships to seven students from throughout the State of Wisconsin.  We thank all of our members and sponsors for their continued generosity.
